Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have homemade Polish cuisine all the time. Both of my parents immigrated from Poland. My mom, who came to America in 1976, brought her traditions and recipes with her to share with our family. The kitchen was always open, cooking at all hours of the day. Even now, this is where the majority of her time is spent. My friends and even random strangers would always ask me where they could find good Polish food and I would always tell them "My mom's kitchen!"

Food has always been a passion of mine and I believe if there is one thing to pass on to the next generation, it is tradition.
